We will head from Gold River to Edwin’s Café and Tea in Rocklin. This coffee shop is a local favorite, offering house-roasted beans and mom’s house-made pastries. The coffee is excellent, the cappuccino is delectable, and the treats are delightful. Special mention, however, has to be given to the homemade quiches.
Two routes are available, and follow the same roads and trails to the coffee shop (mile 18.) On the return, the long route climbs Sierra College Blvd. before it returns to the False Ravine and Miner’s Ravine trails. The Short route avoids the Sierra College climb and follows the same trails you took to the coffee shop. I will sweep the long route at 12 mph. The short route will not be swept, so I suggest you ride with a friend.
Note: If you downloaded the routes before 9 PM on Sunday, 1/22/23, please download them again.
