Anyone familiar with Husick's Taproom knows that it periodically changes ownership and closes for a time. It was shuttered for part of 2024 but reopened in mid-Sept. The new menu includes pizzas, salads, sandwiches and a variety of upscale dishes. Most importantly, there's still decent beer on draft. This is an easy route of moderate length that travels familiar roads in the Greenhaven/Pocket and Clarksburg areas, and starts relatively late to accommodate Husick's opening time--which has varied but is currently 11:00.
