About Our Rides
The club’s focus is on touring and recreational cycling.
All rides are organized and lead by voluneer members.
Helmets are required on all rides.
Riders should review the schedule carefully and select those rides that fall within their capability.
Non-members are invited to attend rides and meetings to get a feel for the club, without any obligation.
The schedule is available at Sacramento area bike shops and is mailed to all members.
The Bike Hikers offer one of the largest selection of rides anywhere. Each quarter the Ride Schedule contains a large variety of rides for all abilities and interests. Members and non-members are all welcome.
Ride Leaders
Probably the most important job in the club. But one of the easiest to preform. Just pick a date, sign-up using the online form, get a route and show up at the ride a little early. That's just about it! (see The Ride Leader Sign-Up Page for more information.)
